SPILT INK... Book 1
The Philadelphia Police Department denies absolutely
that there was ever a community of warrior-punk writers in the South Street
section of the city. Why, then, was an underground cache of manuscripts,
weapons, clothes, paintings, and other artifacts discovered there in the
late 1980s? And why has the ongoing investigation of the "Cream King Trove"
continued in secret ever since?
In The Cream King Scrolls, journalist Innes Davey introduces us
to the Trove research effort at Eberhard College and takes on the challenge
of piecing together fragments of the lost Apunkrypha, the work which—according
to legend— represented the punks' own record of their history. Davey does
not presume to have penetrated the heart of the mystery, but he does claim
to have the only extant fiction manuscripts by the most infamous of punk
writer bands—The Shuteye Train. The book can be printed out fully formatted
for 8-1/2" by 11" paper. Printing is easy. Each file contains a hyperlink
