34 minutes long. By eminent director Werner Herzog. Guaranteed to save lives. It’s called “From One Second to the Next.”
Not nasty, not judgmental, just life saving. A little over half an hour. Might impress you too.

I have 350 teenagers! I’ll watch this tonight, but based on your recommendation alone, I may pass it on to our after school program director to show at next week’s meeting. Could be perfect timing with our seniors graduating and driving away. Thank you.
I’ve seen this film. Teenagers, nothin’. If you have a device with texting capability, you need to watch this regardless of how old you are.
Now we just need Herzog to do a film about applying mascara while driving. Or shaving. Or reading the newspaper. Or playing with your kid. Or making out. Or doing anything other than watching the freaking road. Cars are really heavy and move really quickly. Like with firearms, you must never forget what they can do.
Well said.
I like Herzog’s work, btw. “The Cave of Forgotten Dreams” is a beautiful film, shot beautifully.
And “Rescue Dawn” was one of the best POW escape movies I’ve ever seen. Although it’s hard to say whether to cut the credit pie in favor of Herzog or Christian Bale. It looked like Bale gave up half his body weight to make that film. Nobody can play a starving man quite like a starving man…
Thanks for the heads-up. I have forwarded the title to my wife so that she can remind me to watch it with her and my 16 year old daughter, who is a texting machine on stilts.
Sounds like a couple of removes from actually watching it. Any chance of that happening?
