Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001 College Condemns War on Terror A liberal - and we do mean liberal - arts college in Massachusetts (natch) has won the dubious distinction of being the first to officially condemn America's war against terrorism. Hampshire College students and staff in notoriously intolerant, anti-choice Amherst voted 693-121 "for an anti-war resolution that also was an anti-American screed," the New York Post reported today. The statement from the left-wing college calls the war "symptomatic of the racism of American society." Strange words coming from such a white-dominated institution. They Learn Well From Castro and Stalin The resolution was pushed by an outfit that calls itself Students for a Peaceful Response - and "anti-war" (or should that be pro-terrorist?) organizers counted the ballots. "The process is so corrupt that it severely compromised
the results," senior Devan Goldstein told the Chronicle of Higher Education.
